摘要：介绍了玻璃纤维的一些优良性能及其在电工材料、环境、医疗、建筑、航空航天等领域的应用，回顾了国际、国内玻纤工业的发展过程，对玻璃纤维的断裂强度、硬挺度、线密度、含水、含油率进行了检测,讨论了几种玻璃纤维的基本要求和常见问题并对玻璃纤维的发展历史做了简单的叙述，最后对玻璃纤维在这些领域的应用前景做了简要的展望。
