摘 要
新移民主要是指改革开放以来移居国外的中国公民。福州新移民是当代中国新移民的重要组成部分。文章以福州永泰县旅美新移民钟平为个案，探讨其移民美国的原因、经过及其在美国的工作和生活状况，以此管窥当代福州海外新移民中的底层移民者艰辛的移民历程。

Abstract
New immigrants, mainly refers to the reform and opening up of expatriate Chinese citizens. Fuzhou immigrants in contemporary China an important part of the new immigrants. Article in Fuzhou Yongtai Zhongping as a case of new immigrants living in America to explore the reasons for emigrating to America, through its work in the United States and living conditions, as a restricted view of contemporary new immigrants from overseas, Fuzhou immigrants in the bottom of the immigration process difficult.
